MY LOCAL AREA

I currently live down the road from a park and woodland area known as Wepre (pronounced as "Wep-er") and there is a website devoted to this park at: www.wepre.co.uk

I have put some images on this site to show various parts of Wepre, which I believe are of interest. More photographs will appear here soon.

You can get more information about my home town at: www.connahsquay.co.uk

Wepre Park Sign

Wepre Park ('Parc Gwepra' in the Welsh language) is much more than your average Park, it contains Wepre Woods (an extensive woodland area, great for walking), Wepre Brook (runs straight through the heart of the woodland) and Ewloe Castle.

Please have a look at the sculpture in Wepre Woods, which I think is called "Man Of The Forest" or "Keeper Of The Forest." Actually, I'm not sure what he's called! If you know what he's called, then please let me know.

This page will have more pictures of my local area, as soon as they are developed and scanned in!

Im really sorry that this page is incomplete, but there's only so many hours in the day....

If I manage to make more money out of the Internet, then hopefully I will have all the time in world to construct this site and maybe even create a Flash version of the website! Does anyone want to give me an original copy of Flash MX or SwishMax, as a gesture of goodwill? Would you like to contribute £3 to my Get Swish2 or SwishMax Flash Tools Fund? This is voluntary of course (via Paypal):

Thanks for contributing!

Check out a map of where Wepre is via: UK Multimap - just put Wepre Park into the "street name" field, then zoom out! A cool site.

You can also read the local papers (last time I checked) via these two websites:

FLINTSHIRE LEADER
THE (FLINTSHIRE) CHRONICLE
DAILY POST

...and the local council (if you like that sort of thing!) FLINTSHIRE COUNCIL

If you want to email me concerning anything I have placed on this website, or you wish to report a broken web link from this site, then email me at: chindley@zwallet.com

If you have rejection messages when you try to email me, then just keep trying. It happens sometimes!
